Basic information
In this course, participants will gain practical tools and techniques necessary for implementing Lean Portfolio Management functions, including strategy and investment funding, agile portfolio operations, and governance based on Lean principles.
Course participants will have the opportunity to capture the current and future states of their portfolio using the Portfolio Canvas tool and identify key business initiatives to achieve the future state.
Participants will be able to manage portfolio flow using Portfolio Kanban and prioritize initiatives for maximum economic benefit.
The course also provides information on setting up Value Stream budgets, managing Lean Budget Guardrails, and measuring the performance of the Lean portfolio.
- Describe Lean Portfolio Management (LPM).
